Lauren Bolding, DDS, MS, FACP
Lauren Bolding, DDS, MS, FACP joined the Bethesda TMJ practice in July 2012. She has particular interest in restoring function and esthetics to those patients who have lost tooth structure due to periodontal disease tooth decay erosion and wear. Dr. Bolding also specializes in the restoration of oral and facial structures lost to cancer trauma and birth defects. She has extensive experience in treating and managing patients currently undergoing or with a history of head and neck radiation or chemotherapy. She is a board-certified prosthodontist a fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists and a diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics. Dr. Bolding was awarded the Joseph B. Barron Award by the Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics in 2013. Dr. Bolding is currently Treasurer of The ACP (American College of Prosthodontists) Maryland Section.

Dr. Bolding graduated from New York University College of Dentistry. She then went on to pursue further education at the University of Maryland where she obtained a certificate in Prosthodontics as well as a Masters of Science. After completing her specialty program she then completed a fellowship in Maxillofacial Prosthetics and Dental Oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
Dr. Bolding is a Clinical Associate at Johns Hopkins University Hospital in Baltimore, MD where she treats patients having undergone surgery and/or radiation therapy for oral and maxillofacial cancer. In addition she treats patients and oversees residents treating patients with complex prosthodontic needs.
